Water as Leverage Guidance
Based on the experiences of different Water as Leverage programmes from around the world, and with the support of the IPDC, guidance has been created for stakeholders, including : executive agencies, change agents and contractors. The WaL Guidance has been designed to help foster transformative and inclusive project development. The Guidance features both case studies and practical advice for each stage of project development.
Case studies
The webinar will include a general introduction to the Water as Leverage approach and guidance, followed by a deeper dive into the experiences in Cartagena, Colombia and Semarang, Indonesia. Participants will also witness the formal launch of the WaL Guidance, including an exclusive discussion with Meike van Ginneken, the Dutch Special Envoy for International Water. Following the presentations, participants will be invited to participate in an interactive discussion.
