Bridging the finance gap

Our objective is to bridge the gap between climate adaption implementation needs and financing. This empowers countries to scale up and accelerate climate adaptation actions and investment for climate resilient deltas and coasts by linking actionable knowledge and evidence-based solutions to finance for deltas, coastal areas, and small islands.

Demand-driven

The IPDC is demand-driven and results-orientated. Through evidence-based knowledge, we support the development of national and regional adaptation strategies to mobilise finance for implementation.

Objectives

  • The IPDC aims to be a leading network of countries, financial institutions and organizations involved in climate adaptation worldwide. We want to be ground-breaking in the way we exchange information, learn together, develop solutions and action plans, and make decisions
  • Our network ensures that the necessary knowledge to create delta solutions is available and actively shared on a range of issues, including adaptation measures, projects, and good practice.
  • We support our members in making choices, be it in projects or in adaptation strategies.
