The IPDC is demand-driven and results-orientated. Through evidence-based knowledge, we support the development of national and regional adaptation strategies to mobilise finance for implementation.

So far, 16 countries have signed up to the IPDC; each country is at a different stage in dealing with climate adaptation challenges. The financial institutions that have signed up to the IPDC include the Asian Development Bank, the Green Climate Fund, and the Inter-American Development Bank.
