World Water Week 2024

Are you attending the World Water Week in Stockholm? Join us for an interactive workshop on how deltas can act as connectors from source to sea.

Deltas bridge land, freshwater, and the ocean; successful delta management depends on these linkages. IPDC and the S2S Platform are joining to discuss how the source-to-sea approach can unlock pathways for cooperation on climate resilience and sustainable development. During the workshop we’ll discuss concrete cases from deltas around the world.

The session will bring together policymakers, experts, and practitioners to share experiences from deltas around the world and lessons learned from transboundary, multi-level and cross-sectoral dialogues. The IPDC and S2S Platform will be introduced and key questions for discussion on how these two initiatives and their approaches can strengthen and complement each other will be presented.
